Stump grinding is usually priced by stump diameter — most single residential stumps fall between $95 and $400. Multiple stumps in one visit get a per-stump discount, and we knock money off when it's booked alongside a removal.

We call in a locate for gas, water, irrigation, and low-voltage lines before a grinder touches the ground.

We confirm gate width and yard access so the right size machine shows up — narrow-access grinders fit through a 36-inch gate.

Do you remove the roots?
We grind the stump and major surface roots. Deep lateral roots are left in place — they decay naturally and pulling them out would tear up your yard.
What happens to the wood chips?
Your choice: we can rake them back into the hole as free mulch, or haul them away and bring in clean fill.
